AVB HOUSE RULES
Please following these simple HOUSE RULES to ensure a fun and safe time bowling.
- NO OUTSIDE FOOD, ALCOHOL or DRINKS ALLOWED
- NO PETS ALLOWED. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
- Bowling is good exercise. Know your physical limitations.
- Ask for help in finding the right ball for you.
- Everyone MUST wear bowling shoes – they are specially made just this sport. AVOID getting the soles of the shoes wet – check your shoes every time before going on the approach to bowl. Safety first!
- DO NOT go past the foul line! There is oil on the lanes that make it slipperly and dangerous.
- Keep all food and beverages on the back counters only. Try not to eat oily finger foods with your bowling hand as the ball may slip off your hand.
- Wait until the balls stop on the ball rack before picking up your ball.
- DO NOT put your hands in the ball return.
- DO NOT operate the bumpers or push the bumper ramp past the foul line.
- Bumpers are for youth aged 6 and under only – No Adults. We have ramps available to help keep the ball roll straight.
- Ask for help IMMEDIATELY if a ball is stuck in the gutters, the pins or scoring need to be fixed or if there is a spill in the bowler’s area.
- Observe ONE LANE COURTESY – wait to take your turn bowling until your neighbor has finished taking their turn.
- Obey all signs, posted warnings and safety notices. They keep everyone safe.
- NO TOLERANCE POLICY – For the safety of everyone, please conduct yourself appropriately at all times and have a great time BOWLING!
